Trees Die on Their Feet (Summary)
"Trees Die on Their Feet" tells the story of an elderly woman from North Korea who is running out of time to live, and a theatrical actor plays her grandson to fulfill her last wish.
Ja Geum Soon is a woman born in North Korea in 1930. She fled to South Korea during the war and was separated from her husband and children. While waiting for her family, she established the hotel chain Hotel Nakwon in South Korea.
Jae Heon is an unknown drama actor who, to fulfill her wish, played Geum Soon's grandson Moon Sung.
