Synopsis: Joseon Survival

Joseon Survival is about Han Jung Rok, a former national archer and current delivery person from 2019. He travels to the past and meets Im Kkeok Jeong, a famous thief from the Joseon dynasty. Together they struggle to survive, risk their lives for the people they love and share a strong friendship.

Kyung Soo-jin has received an offer to shine in the newest time-slip drama Joseon Survival, according to a statement from its agency, YG Entertainment, on March 13.
Joseon Survival tells the struggles and friendship of a delivery person in present-day Seoul and a famous thief in Joseon. Kang Ji-hwan (Feel Good To Die) is considering playing Jung Rok-gi, a former member of the Korean national archery team that has failed to become an Olympic champion due to an injury and eventually goes to work as a package delivery girl. After becoming engaged in a mysterious incident, he travels back in time all the way to the Joseon Dynasty, during the reign of King Myeongjeong, along with his younger brother and sister and first love. He is willing to risk his life for the two women he loves.

Kyung Soo-jin is "currently doing positively" to take on the role of Lee Hae-deun, Jung Rok-Gi's love interest. She is a trauma doctor and third-year resident in the emergency department of a top hospital in the country. The only daughter of a rich family, she is described as an elegant and charismatic woman.

The actress made her acting debut in 2012 via Man From The Equator and then appeared in famous dramas such as That Winter, The Wind Blows and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo. In 2017 she was allowed to play her first lead role in a primetime mainstream drama via the 10-part fantasy-rom com Meloholic. If she accepts the role in Joseon Survival, she will be in the lead for the first time in a primetime mini-series - a drama that spans 12 to 20-hour episodes or 24 to 40 episodes of half an hour between 9 and 12 pm Korean Standard time.

Joseon Survival is directed by Jang Yong-woo from D-Day and written by Kim Sol-ji from Syndrome. It will broadcast in the last part of 2019 on cable network TV Chosun.
