'UnderCover' tells the story of Han Jung-hyun, who has been hiding his identity for a long time, and Choi Yeon-soo, a human rights lawyer who became the first head of a corruption investigation for a civil servant who struggled for justice.

A fierce war begins to protect love and justice from the huge forces that are ruling and shaking the country for profit. The series is expected to delve into the reality of power and stick to the story of the multiplicity of man hidden in it as well as discussing right and wrong.

First, Ji Jin Hee's character Han Jung Hyeon is an agent of the National Security Planning Agency, who has been hiding her identity for a long time. She is known for her extraordinary agility and boldness, he falls in love with Choi Yeon Soo on a top-secret mission and ends up getting married. However, when his wife was nominated for an investigation into high-ranking civil servant corruption, his secret life was caught in an uncontrollable tornado.

Kim Hyun Joo's character Choi Yeon Soo is a human rights lawyer who lives for justice and the truth. Recognizing her lifelong beliefs and abilities, she was named the first head of the Senior Government's Corruption Investigation Unit.
