Story Summary
The drama depicts a type of psychiatry that brings comfort to not only the patient, but even those around the patient in the midst of a world that pushes everyone to give up their sanity.
This drama depicts a kind of psychiatrist who comforts not only the patient but also those around him in a world where everyone has to abandon their conscience. It tells the story of Se-pung Yoo, Set in the Joseon Dynasty, a conscript who grows up to be a psychiatrist. Although his skills are great enough to be called the legend of the palace, he suffers trauma every time he is stabbed with a needle for some reason. He is embroiled in a royal conspiracy, expelled from the court, and loses his stellar abilities as an acupuncturist.
Seo Eun-woo becomes a psychiatrist after a helpless girl who is exhausted from everyday life she can't handle. She is a widow with a twist that infers the stories of grievous people. As the daughter of a noble family, she has keen observation and extraordinary empathy. Being treated unfairly by her sudden marriage, and in danger of becoming her wife who will keep her loyalty to her husband, who died unintentionally, she meets a campaigner and faces a dramatic change. Han Gye-ji (Han Gye-ji) is a doctor in Seorak Village who hides warmth in her blunt personality. She seems to be materialistic and obsessed with money, but the truth is, the more you get to know her, the more conscientious she gets.
