At first glance, high school students Xiang Hao Ting and Yu Xi Gu seem to be polar opposites: while Xiang Hao Ting is an extrovert, hot-headed extrovert and a bully for a while, Yu Xi Gu likes to remain low and stay low focus on his school work. They seem bound to totally different futures - the book-like Yu Xi Gu looks destined for academic success, while life is only a long popularity contest for Xiang Hao Ting. But a whim of fate - and a crucial intervention by a female schoolmate - leads to the two young men crossing each other. But there is more to both young men than you might seem. Xiang Hao Ting was not always like that. He started out as a perfect student until he discovered the joys of derailment. And Yu Xi Gu has a reason to be so distant and inquisitive: his parents died in a traffic accident when he was younger, and he is raised by his aunt. As such, he works hard to get good grades in an attempt to win a scholarship and alleviate the financial burden on his family members. Yu Xi Gu also works part-time in a supermarket, where his manager Liu Zhi Gang has fallen in love with a man he met at the gym. Back at school, Yu Xi Gu and Xiang Hao Ting are now being pulled together and passions are igniting. The former notices that he has the unique ability to take Yu Xi Gu out of his shell - and is determined to melt his cold-as-ice appearance. What happens when their two worlds collide?
