"Dance of the Sky Empire" (Chinese: 天舞纪) is an upcoming Chinese web series (2020), Produced by iQIYI, G.H.Y. Perfect World Pictures and Culture & Media and directed by Zhao Jintao, starring Xu Kai (Li Xuan) and Wu Jia Yi (Su You Lian). It is based on the novel of the same name by "Bu Feiyan", the series filming was completed In December 2019

Synopsis: Dance of the Sky Empire
Moyun Academy is the number one academy in Great Tang. However, it is said that a student from the school will become the catalyst for the return of the King of Demon. To everyone's surprise, a lowlife named Li Xuan is accidentally admitted to the academy. The story is set against the backdrop of the prosperous Tang Dynasty in an era when humans and demons coexisted. The arrival of Li Xuan, a hybrid of man and demon, breaks the fragile peace. During this time, Li Xuan, demon spy Su Youlian and Long Wei'er develop complicated relationships. When Li Xuan eventually becomes a hero to the people, he faces a dilemma in deciding where his loyalty lies.
